30th here I come!!!

My hubby and I, Rockin' our pink bibs!

Oh what a celebration, this year I celebrated my 30th birthday! I must say it was rather memorable! I am excited to see what my 30's have instore... my 20's were pretty good. I married my wonderful husband, we had our beautiful girls, I graduated Nursing school, we bought our 1st house... oh the list goes on and on.  Justin and I headed down to Vegas on the 26th and had dinner with Di and Bill, the next morning(my actual birthday) Justin and I went and got messeges and I had a pedicure, then we were pool bound. We spent most of the day laying out at the pool, we played a game BINGO, had a restful nap. After my nap we got ready for our dinner reservations at "Michael's".
 ...Dinner @ Michael's...
Once we arrived we were seated in a secluded room that faced a wine cellar. The table was set for 10 and had large trays of hors d'oeurvres, as we sat down the waiters placed napkins on our laps. We ordered our meals and they brought us our salads. Mine was delivered with an orchid on it. Then we were served Dom Perignon and sorbet to cleanse our pallet. Then our main entry were served it was unbelievable. Then they brought Jay and I, 2 pieces of cake and sang Happy Birthday to us. Then a desert table was presented which was amazing, offered cheese cake, banana's foster an array of cakes etc... we were served desert and coffee, then chocolate covered mango's, kiwi, strawberries that were to die for. After that they served fresh fruit baskets, which at that point we were so full we could barely stand. It was an amazing experience we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we laughed and cried at times because we were laughing so hard. The staff at the restaurant catered to us, like non of us had ever experienced. They cleaned each and every crumb up off the table while we were eating. Once our 4 1/2 hour dinner came to an end we received our bill, hmmm....what a surprise it was to us but worth every penny. It was an experience we all will remember for years to come...
It was honestly one of the best Birthday's, I enjoyed the company most of all!
Better start saving for my 40th!

The whole gang! Thanks for making my birthday so memorable!

Our week in Pennsylvania

After our trip to NY we went back to Pap and Grandma Judy's. We went to Pittsburgh with my mom one of the days and road the Duquesne Incline, had lunch and went down to the district to stock up on our Steeler's apparel. For the 4th of July we spent it in Monaca with my grandparents, mom and the boys (grandma Judy's grandson's).  We swam and ate, ate and ate some more!

The girls became rather attached to THEIR FRIEND (Tony), the 1st night we were there before we drove to NY gram and pap treated us to Hanks. While we were eating Tony started playing peek a boo with our girls under the table. When Tony asked Anastyn what her name was, her response was "the otter sister". So the rest of our time there he called her "the other sister" and she responded appropriately! Each day after that they would ask "where my friend at?" Tony would come each day to see them, play tag or go swimming, puzzle etc... We were so glad that we got to spend time with Tony and that our girls took to him so easily.

After the 4th of July Justin and Tony took a road trip to Ohio to go to the Football Hall of Fame. Something he has always wanted to see. So the girls and I stayed behind so that they could enjoy the Hall of Fame and not feel rushed. The girls and I helped Grandma Judy move pictures and boxes over to their new house.
Dougie, Melissa, Eli and Maddy came to visit while we were there! It had been a few years since we had seen each other and the kids got to meet each other for the first time. They got along really well! While we were there I took the opportunity to take family pictures. A picture we will cherish ! We had such a great vacation, it was sad to come home. My least favorite thing is saying goodbye, but we intend to take another trip back to PA next summer.
